I just found an interesting scientific paper. Although it was published last September, it’s title is telling: The Myth of the 1970s Global Cooling Scientific Consensus, and the American Meteorological Society has kindly made it available for free in its Bulletin.
The paper is also clear in its conclusions: like it or not, scientists were not worrying about global cooling back then.
